Cadamarteri's red card appeal turned down

Bradford striker Danny Cadmarteri has had his appeal against the red card issued to him refused by the FA.

Cadamarteri was sent-off during last weekend's 2-2 with draw with Burnley for use of the elbow. Both Cadamarteri and Braford disagreed with the red card and asked The FA the review the decsion.

The FA agreed with the decision and the 3-match ban stands.

A club statement on the matter read: "We asked the referee to look at it again and he did but didn't change his mind and unfortunately the FA are of the same opinion."
