Games Given Go Ahead

After it was announced today that the Queen's Mother had died people were quick to make up a story that games won't be going ahead on Monday. The FA dismissed this and said the games are to go ahead as normal but with a minute silence before games and players will be invited to wear black bands.

Despite rumours that monday's games would be called off due to the death of the queen mother the football league made an announcement that the games will be on. Spokesman
for the Football League, John Nagle made a statement which read:
"We will invite the clubs to observe a minute's silence and black armbands
will be worn." |
