West signs new Burnley deal

Burnley full-back Dean West has signed a new one-month deal with the club ahead of this evening's Worthington Cup game against Huddersfield.

The 29-year-old was out of contract in the summer and due to the financial situation at Turf Moor was not offered a new contract.

West remained at the club on a month-to-month contract but has now earned a month long contract which provides some security for the ex-Bury man.
