Zhiyi on trial at Gills

Gillingham have handed a trial to Chinese international Fan Zhiyi.

Zhiyi first arrived in Britain with Crystal Palace in the late 90's, during his time at Selhurst Park he was made club captain before moving north of the border with SPL team Dundee.

Gillingham manager Andy Hessenthaler has handed the defender a two-week trial to try and impress enough to earn a possible move to the Kent club.
