Middlesbrough striker Dean Windass has joined Neil Warnocks Sheffield Utd on a months loan.

Dean Windass has been on the transter list at Middlesbrough some time now, and has accepted a months loan at Sheff Utd to get some first team games.

Neil Warnock said "It is a very difficult time to loan players, but the fact that Stuart McCall knew Dean from their Bradford days helped sway the deal when at least three other First Division clubs were after him."

"We think his experience and know how will help other players and we are still hoping to add another striker to the squad before the weekend." Warnock also added
