Poom Sunderland Switch

Sunderland have finally landed Derby keeper Mart Poom but only on a two month loan at present.

Derby have let keeper Mart Poom join Premiership strugglers Sunderland on a two month loan deal , Sunderland with all there keeper injurys have had special permission to sign Poom.

The deal may become permant when the transfer window reopens in January and reports suggest the deal could be as much as £4 million after clauses.

Speaking to the official site Keith Lorin said “We are happy we have reached a deal that is satisfactory to both clubs.”

Derby still in massive debt are still looking at shipping players out and Mart Poom might not be the last , the likes of Horatio Carbonnaire , Fabrizio Ravenelli and Branko Strupar could be the next on the exit lists.
