Redknapp Wants Ferdy

Harry Redknapp has enquired about getting the services of Spurs striker Les Ferdinand.

Harry Redknapp has stated he would love to sign Les Ferdinand on loan for the rest of the season , a week agao Spurs manager Glenn Hoddle blocked a move for Les to Wolves but recently Ferdinand has been unhappy with the situation.

Ferdinand has been unhappy at playing second fiddle to Robbie Keane and Teddy Sherringham and would welcome a move to Portsmouth and to get first team football.

Redknapp speaking about the possible move said " What I don't want is to lose a massive lead like Kenny Dalglish with Blackburn and Wolves last season.

"They each had promotion wrapped up and then blew up and I don't want that to happen to us.
"That is why we need players like Ferdinand." Redknapp also added.
