Sturridge Specialist Trip

Wolves striker Dean Sturridge will visit a top specialist in hoping he can cure the strikers current knee problems.

Dean Sturridge has been playing through the pain barrier for a while now, and this trip to London will hope to cure the strikers problems.

Barry Holmes speaking to the official Wolves site said "We will see the specialist this afternoon and, hopefully, he will give the go-ahead for Dean to have a pain killing injection in his lower back tomorrow morning."

"If all goes to plan, then we will rest him on Wednesday and then phase him back into training on Thursday and Friday in preparation for the weekend’s game with Norwich City." Holmes also added

Wolves only have two fit strikers now Kenny Miller and Carlton Cole and getting Deano fit is Dave Jones top priorty , watching the game at Rotherham on Saturday is was for all to see Sturridge isn't fit at all, and the problem needs to be sorted soon if Wolves have any chance of getting in with the teams at the top.
