Preston top scorer Ricardo Fuller is out for the rest of the season after scans confirmed he has cruciate knee ligament damage.
Ricardo Fuller has damaged cruiate knee ligament damage in the 2-1 victory against Coventry on Saturday , doctors confirmed that the top scorer at Preston will definetly miss the res of the season.
Early suggestions said that the injury wasn't has bad as first though but after having surgery they found out the injury is a serouis one.
Fuller has being scoring for fun this season and it's a big blow to Preston who missed the striker in their 5-0 defeat at Villa Park ladt night.
Craig Brown said on the clubs website "It's a massive blow for us, but we have a very good forward in David Healy who has been waiting for his chance and we have Richard Cresswell too."
Craig Brown in knowing Fullers injury had tried to sign Villa striker Peter Crouch on loan, but that was quickly rejected has the striker is suffering from lack of fitness his self.
