Coventry have insisted Gary Mcallister's number two Eric Black will not move to take over at Aberdeen.

Coventry chairman Mike McGinnity has dimmised reports that Eric Black will take over at Aberdeen.

Ebbe Skovdahl has said today that he will leave Aberdeen has soon as next week and that put's Eric Black top of the list , other names touted are Bruce Rioch who has expressed an interest in taking over.

McGinnity said today speaking to the coventry official site "I spoke to Eric at our FA Youth Cup game regarding the speculation surrounding the Aberdeen job and he reiterated he is perfectly content here."

"But he is happy here working with Gary McAllister and we are pleased to have him at Coventry City."
