Gazza Linked With Gills

Gillingham have been linked with Former Spurs & Everton midfielder Paul Gascoigne.

Gillingham first team coach Wayne Jones has hinted that the Gills might be thinking over a move for Paul Gascoigne , the Gills coach speaking on the official Gills website said "He’s available and we’ve been told he’s as fit as he had been for a long time, and he is looking for a club. Someone like that may do us a lot of favours."

Gascoigne has been without a club since last season's short stay at Burnley in which he played 3 games.

Gazza has had a glittering career which spans from Tottenham were he made his name but in the summer he was turned down for a move to the States and is in limbo at the moment.

In the week his a close friend hinted that a first division club may be after his services and it looks as if Gillingham are the first team to express an interest.
