Chris Turner Sheff Wednesday boss has completed the signing of Allan Johnston from Middlesborough, in a busy day today he joins Adam Proudlock and Gary Monk on loan deals.

Sheffield Wednesday boss completed his third loan signing of the day today , as well has landing striker Adam Proudlock from Wolves and Gary Monk he signed Middlesborough winger Allan Johnston.

Johnston a former Rangers star has limited chances at Boro , but has starred in the reserves and been quality in a lot of games for the second string at Teeside.

He signs on a months deal and is looking forward to first team games at Hillsborough.

Bottom of the league Wednesday are hoping they can turn round there performances , and with these new faces they might have a chance with tough fixtures through the xmas and new year periods.
