Portsmouth's Japanese Goalkeeper Yoshikatsu Kawaguchi has been told he is surplus to requirments at Fratton Park.

Yoshikatsu Kawaguchi stay in England looks very much over after being told he will not be playing in goal for Pompey again.

The little Japanese goalkeeper has been playing second fiddle to Shaka Hislop this season and is finding life hard in England.

Pompey paid £1.8 million for the keeper from J-League side Yokohama F-Marinos , he made a few mistakes last season and was instantly dropped in favour of veteran Dave Beasant.

"He is a damn good keeper, but is best suited to other countries rather than England.

"We'll do everything we can to help Yoshi find the club he wants." he also added
