Sheffield Wednesday boss Chris Turner is eyeing up Newcastle's fullback Wayne Quinn as temporary replacment for injured David Burrows.

Manager Chris Turner is eyeing up Wayne Quinn as a possible replacement for injured David Burrows , Turner has made an enquiry about the avalability of Quinn who was a £750,000 buy from Sheffield rivals Utd.

Quinn is not figuring in Bobby Robsons plans and a loan move to Hillsborough would be a blessing for the the left sided defender , if he misses out he may look at Derek Geary to full the void.
