Dean Holdsworth today signed for Coventry on a free transfer , but Craig Hignett returns to Blackburn after fracturing a shin bone.

Bolton striker Dean Holdsworth has finally moved from the Reebok and joined Gary Mcallister's family at Highfield.

The 34 year old striker has wished for first team football , that was not going to happen at Bolton but after a succesful loan spell at Coventry he has signed full time there on a free transfer.

Bad news for Sky Blue fans though is the injury to Craig Hignett which has forced a return to Blackburn , after the midfielder fractured a shin bone .

Hignett only signed a extension to his loan deal yesterday and Mcallister will miss the midfielder badly , he has scored two goals in the last three and will be sorely missed.
