Saddlers Dealt A Barras Blow

Saddlers were dealt a massive blow today by the news defender Tony Barras will be sidelined with a hamstring injury for upto eight weeks.

Barras has had a successful loan period at Plymouth and until this injury setback was inline to start for Walsall in there cup clash against Reading on Saturday after returning from Home Park.

Barras has a troublesome hamstring and doctors say it could be late Febuary or even into March before he can think about returning.

Colin Lee stated "The injury to Tony Barras has hit us below the belt.

"It looks as if that will be a long-term injury, about six to eight weeks."
