Oster Recalled By The Black Cats

Grimsby's on loan star John Oster has returned to Sunderland and maybe called into the squad to face Man Utd.

Grimsby pulled out all the stops to extend John Oster's loan spell at Blundell Park but had no success.

The striker has lit up Grimsby over the past month ans his services will be sadly missed.

He has scored 5 times for the Mariners and and three of those in the last two games.

Sunderland manager Howard Wikinson said about Oster's recall "I have recalled John from Grimsby. For the sake of three days, I thought I might as well do it now."
