Preston manager Craig Brown today completed the signing of Celtic keeper Jonathan Gould on a one and a half year deal.

Jonathan Gould joined Craig Brown at Deepdale today after agreeing a one and a half year deal to sign for Preston , the keeper has been pushed right out of the Celtic squad with the form of Rab Douglas and the player 34 years of age was not prepared to hang around any longer.

Gould who has signed on a free transfer is relishing the challenge but knows he is not just going to walk into the side as Craig Brown explained "Jonathan will supplement the goalkeeping provision we have here.
