Poom Signs For Black Cats

Sunderland have signed Derby keeper Mart Poom for £2.5m.

Mart Poom has finally completed a permanent move to The Stadium Of Light after spending the last two months with the Black Cats , Howard Wilkinson landed the Estonian keeper for £2.5m depending on apperances and wether or not Sunderland stay in the top flight.

Howard Wilkinson said about the Poom transfer "It's great to be able to secure the services of a much-sought after keeper.

"Poom has attracted interest from some of Europe's top clubs. He's an experienced and proven Premiership goalkeeper.

"I've watched him closely for some years now and have been very impressed." he also added

So the exodus continues at Derby and expect more very soon , Malcolm Christie and Chris Riggot are being linked with a move to the North East as well, as Middlesborough are very keen on there services.
