Alan Pardew today commited himself to Reading and also taken a pay cut in a three year deal upto 2006.
Reading boss Alan Pardew has commited the next three years of his life to The Royals , by signing a three year deal , he has even taken a pay cut to stay as Reading boss which in these money grabbing climate proves his loyalty to the Football club.
The deal which is upto 2006 he has taken a pay cut to set an example to others around the club , there are 11 players out of contract at Reading at Pardew stated "I need to be the standard bearer for everyone else."
Pardew also added " There are some tough decisions to be made over new contracts for my staff and players.
"Now I have the power to take those decisions."
Reading including Alan Pardew are taking this stance because of the lack of money in the Nationwide these days , and maybe other clubs and players will follow suit and come to there senses that monry is just not there anymore.
