Kanchelskis To Hillsborough ?

Sheff Wednesday are believed to be after Southampton winger Andrei Kanchelskis.

Sheffield Wednesday boss Chris Turner has expressed an interest in signing the Saints winger Andrei Kanchelskis.

Kanchelskis has been frozen out of Gordon Strachan's side after not impressing the boss since his free transfer move in the summer.

Chris Turner is looking for quality players to keep Wednesday's decent league run on track to get away from relegation.

Turner admitted he is interested in signing the pacy wide-man on loan along with a number of other targets."

"There is an interest and I have inquired about him, along with a dozen other players," said Turner."

Sheffield Wednesday have a tough Steel City Derby game on friday, and they are boosted by the news Allan Johnston has extended his loan at Hillsborough for another month.
