Carl Robinson has signed for his old Wolves friend and Wednesday manager Chris Turner on a months loan at Hillsborough.

Carl Robinson has swapped a promotion fight for a relegation scrap , in moving from Pompey to Sheff Wednesday.

The ex Wolves midfielder joins up with friend and former Wanderers youth team coach Chris Turner on a months loan deal.

Robinson hasn't figured much in Pompeys push for the Premiership and will hope a month away can get his match fitness back and much needed first team football.
