Coventry boss is set to give Richard Shaw a new deal at Highfield Road.

34 year old defender Richard Shaw is set for a new deal at Coventry , boss Gary Mcallister is reported to be in talks with Shaw and his agents in giving the defender a one year contract.

Shaw is playing in top form this season and his defensive display's this season have helped Coventry up the table and into the playoff zone.

Coventry chairman Mike McGinnity told the Coventry Evening Telegraph. "I have always rated Richard and you can't say he ever gives you less than 100 per cent."
