Ian Hendon has been released from his contract at Hillsborough by mutual consent.

Sheff Wednesday boss Chris Turner has cancelled Ian Hendon's Hillsborough contract by mutual consent.

The defender has been out of favour of late and has spent the past month on loan at Barnet , his contract was to be ending in the summer anyway and both party's agree this is the best course of action.
