Baggies Close In On Sherwood

Reports have suggested Tim Sherwood's on off transfer wrangle will be ended soon with West Bromwich Albion victors in getting him.

Tim Sherwood seems likely to move to The Hawthorns after the player turned down a bid from Pompey to sign him last week.

West Bromwich Albion have been monitoring his progress and seem to be close to getting his signature.

Eric Hall - Sherwood's agent is believed to meeting with Albion sources in the next 24 hours but nothing is concrete of yet.

If Sherwood joins Albion in the next day or so it will end a long and tedious battle over Sherwood , who is very keen to leave White Hart Lane after a bust up with Glenn Hoddle
