Pompey defender Gianluca Festa is very hopefully of returning to action very very soon.

Gianluca Festa is hopeful of a quick return to action from taking another knock on his medial ligament.

Pompey and Festa have pencilled in the Grimsby game as a possible return for the Italian defender.

Pompey club physio Gary Sadler speaking to the clubs official site said "Gianluca is improving every day after bruising and aggravating his medial ligament injury.

"We are confident he will be in contention for the Grimsby match at the start of February." Sadler also added
