Middlesborough have been reported to be very close to signing Derby Duo Malcolm Christie and Chris Riggott.

After giving up on Seth Johnson today Middlesborough are reported to be very close in signing Derby pair Malcolm Christie and Chris Riggot.

Steve Mclaren said of the impending double signing "We're still in negotiations with Derby and it's very close."

"I expect to know something by the end of play today."

"A deal is very close to being done, but there's still a long way to go, as was proved with Seth Johnson last week. Watch this space." Mclaren also added

A loan deal looks likely as Derby are willing to allow the duo to sign temporary until the end of the season and Boro will sign the pair permanately then.
