Dundee Utd manager Jim Duffy has been reported to be very keen on bringing in to Tannadice Mark Burchill from Pompey.

Dundee Utd manager Jim Duffy is keen to bring in Pompey striker Mark Burchill to Tannadice.

Burchill has been left on the sidelines this season with the form of Todorov and Pericard , with the transfer window closing soon Duffy has to act quick if he is to get Burchill.

"I have left three messages with Harry but I have never at any stage spoken to the player about this matter."Duffy stated

"I'm aware the transfer window closes on Friday and I am constantly in touch with managers the length and breadth of the country."

Duffy also added "I know exactly how much Mark earns at Portsmouth because I was on the management staff there when he signed from Celtic."
