Pompey Finally Land Sherwood

Tim Sherwood has this afternoon moved to Fratton Park after his on off transfer saga finally comes to an end.

Finally after weeks of he's going to Pompey , oh no he's not - he's going to Albion , oh no he's not the pantomine has finally closed it's curtains and he has joined Pompey till the end of the season.

Sherwood has been out of favour and when he had a change of heart about joining Pompey last week it shocked many people.

Chief Executive Peter Storrie speaking to the clubs official website said "I am glad to have Tim here as I am never fully satisfied till everything is finalised.

"Tim is a box to box player and it does not need anyone to promote his record and how valuable he is to us." also added

"Harry Redknapp has long admired the player and our interest in adding him to our squad for some time has not particularly been a secret." continued Storrie

Hoddle and Sherwood fell out after Sherwood questioned Hoddle's tactics and that was that for Sherwood at White Hart Lane , Pompey boss Harry Redknapp has been after the player for almost five months and must be very happy to finally land his man.
