Newcastle boss Bobby Robson is reported in lining up a summer move for Ipswich's rising star Darren Ambrose.

Newcastle United are reported to be very interested in getting Ipswich Town's star kid Darren Ambrose , they are planning a summer raid on Portman Road to get his services.

The Geordie giants have sent numerous scouts down to Suffolk to check put the player in action and have been impressed with what they have seen.

Ambrose himself has stated he would love to stay at Portman Road but will wait to see what the summer offers for him , Freddy Sheperd has been to see Ambrose play and has recently been seen at Valley Parade in Ipswich's defeat there at the weekend.
