Wolves winger Shaun Newton has been told to take a break to rest a troublesome knee injury he aggravated in his teams 4-0 win at Hillsborough on Saturday.
Newton has turned his Wolves career round after becoming a target for the Molineux boo boy's and has turned in some steady performances of late.
Dave Jones speaking to the club's official website confirmed "Shaun has been feeling soreness on the outside of his knee"
"It's a result of training on the ground at Compton which was quite hard last week due to the weather."
"He's going to have a couple of days rest and we are hopeful he will be fine for next weekend." Jones also added
