Grimsby boss Paul Groves has given Oldham midfielder Wayne Gill a trial at Blundell Park.
Oldham midfielder Wayne Gill has been given a trial at Grimsby , Gill 27 has been made avaliable after Oldham boss Ian Dowie was told to trim his playing squad.
Gill is one of nine players who have been told they are no longer needed at Boundary Park which prompted Paul Groves to give him a trial , Grimsby are fighting a relegation scrap and there very exsitance is on the line if they drop to Division Two.
Gill has been match fit for the last three months and his keen to get his career on the rails again , he has had a injury hit spell at Oldham since his move from Tranmere and would like to keep fit to earn a contract at Grimsby.
