Portsmouth have extended Efstathios Tavlaridis's loan at Fratton Park for another month.

Portsmouth have extended Efstathios Tavlaridis's loan at Fratton Park for another month , the Arsenal defender has been an ever present in Harry Redknapp's Premiership chasing side prompting Redknapp to enquire for the players services for another month which were excepted by the Gunners.

With Gianluca Festa and Arjan de Zeeuw due back soon the form of Tavlaridis will give Redknapp a chance to get his first choice defence back fit without rushing them.
