Hoekstra Banned For Cup Tie

Stoke midfielder Peter Hoekstra is left heart broken with the news he will miss the Potters Cup clash against Chelsea at the weekend.

Peter Hoekstra booking against Norwich which takes him to five yellow's this term relegates the player to the stands for there FA Cup 5th Round clash against Chelsea this weekend.

The suspension is a massive blow to Stoke and to Hoekstra who is gutted at missing a major game in Stoke's season.

Tony Pulis Stoke manager said "You could say it's a bit of a blow to lose someone in Peter's form at this time."

"He's sick at getting booked so late in the game and we've since learned how costly it is."

"You would think the Cup game would be the kind of stage he relishes, but his absence now gives one of the kids the chance to come in and try to make a name for themselves." Pulis added
