Cadamarteri Frozen Out

Bradford striker Danny Cadamarteri seems certain to be left on the scrap heap after refusing to delay an apperance bonus.

Danny Cadamarteri seems to be digging his own hole in regards of refusing to delay an apperance clause, which would mean if he plays one more game for The Bantams he would get a £1000 raise on his current pay.

Bradford have been dismayed with his conduct and have frozen him out of first team duties , stating it would be a massive mistake with the finance at a low already at the club, to allow him to get that wage increase for the next three years of his contract while the striker sits out injured.

Bradford chairman Gordon Gibb speaking to the Bradford Telegraph & Argus said "There is an element of trial and error. We don't want to take the risk of playing him for one game and then ending up paying an extra £1,000 every week for another three years of his contract if he is going to be out long-term with an operation."

"There are long, hard conversations to be had with his people. We are not prepared to take a considerable financial gamble and we would like a letter agreeing to put this contract clause on ice." Gibbs added
