Blackpool boss Steve Mcmahon has taken Gordon Strachan's son Gavin on a trial from Coventry.

Gavin Strachan son of Southampton boss Gordon has been given a trial at Second Division Blackpool.

Strachan Jnr has been out of favour at Highfield Road since his dads sacking last season, and the chance of first team football is very much important for the 24 year old.

Gavin Strachan has already been at Bloomfield Road in a reserve game for the Tangerines , and this trial is one step closer to getting a full deal with Steve Mcmahon's side.
