Watford have sent out injury plagued midfielder Richard Johnson out on a month's loan to Northampton.

Watford have given Richard Johnson the chance to get his football career back on track by sending him out on loan to Northampton.

Johnson has only played once for Ray Lewington after missing a third of the season due to a knee injury.

A delighted Terry Fenwick said "He is a very good competitive midfield player, who gets around the park well and I have been impressed with him in training."
