Sheff Utd assistant boss Kevin Blackwell is hoping the club can sort out his future at Bramall Lane very soon.

Blades assistant boss Kevin Blackwell is hoping to give the go ahead on a new deal with the Blades.

Blackwell has said all along he's happy as number two to Neil Warnock a centimant the Blades boss echoed, but he has been linked with managment roles at Huddersfield and Stockport.

Speaking to the Blades official website Neil Warnock stated.

He said "It has to be a very good club for Kevin to leave and he would be foolish to leave a successful club like this."

"If he felt the opportunity was better than being my number two then he has to take it but he has an important role to play here. Kevin has been vital this season." Warnock added
