Reading Duo Rewarded

Reading keeper Marcus Hahnemann and left back Nick Shorey have been rewarded with new contracts which keep the duo at the Madesjki until 2006.

Marcus Hahnemann and left back Nick Shorey have been handed new contracts which see them tied to Reading until 2006.

Both players have been outstanding in the Royals push for a second promotion mainly through the playoffs , Hahnemann has been in top form keeping clean sheets for fun and with Nicky Shaw being solid just infront of him the Royals sit pretty 5th in Division One.

Alan Pardew said to the Royals official website "Both of these players have been in fantastic form for us this year, and they are key players for the future."

"So I am very pleased that they've committed themselves to Reading Football Club." Pardew added
