Huckerby Joins Forest

Nottm Forest have completed the loan signing of Man City's Darren Huckerby till the end of the season.

Forest have landed speedy striker Darren Huckerby on loan till the end of the season , Huckerby out of favour at Maine Road and is way down the pecking order with Nicolas Anelka , Robbie Fowler and Shaun Goater getting in first.

Forest boss Paul Hart speaking on the clubs website said "We want to get promotion and having a player of Darren's quality on board will help us try and achieve that aim."

Huckerby will not be eligable to play for Forest until Febuary 24th , but he will train with Forest from Monday next week , the club want the loan deal to run into the playoffs which is very smart thinking.

"He had the chance to join a couple of other clubs but he's a Nottingham lad and desperately wants to play for Forest." added Hart
