Stewart Rejects Mariners

Man Utd's Michael Stewart has rejected a loan move to Grimsby Town.

Grimsby Town's chance of getting in Michael Stewart from Man Utd have been dealt a blow with the player turning down a move.

Stewart has turned down a chance to go on loan until the end of the season , and Grimsby will now have to look else where to bolster there squad.

A statement from the Mariners official website stated "Manchester United's Michael Stewart is the latest player to say no to a loan move to Blundell Park."

"It is thought a deal had been struck with United, but the player himself decided against a move."
