Mackay Suspended For East Anglian Derby

Norwich defender Malky Mackay has been ruled out of his sides derby clash against Ipswich through suspension following his red card on Saturday against Southampton.

The game,scheduled to be played on the 2nd of March,is one of the Nationwide's fiercest derby games.The loss of Mackay for such a crucial game will have dealt a huge blow to the Canaries manager Nigel Worthington as they seek to cement a play-off place.

The one game ban comes after Mackay received two bookings on Saturday,one for a foul on Paul Telfer and the second for fouling Brett Ormerod nine minutes from the end of the game.
