Mariners Rule Out Lester Switch

Grimsby have ruled out a possible return to Blundell Park for favourite Jack Lester.

Grimsby boss Paul Groves has backed off the idea of bringing in former Mariner Jack Lester for the time being.

But Groves stated he might take a look at the chance of trying to bring him in the summer.

He stated "We haven't made an enquiry, but he's a good player and I wouldn't rule anything out at the moment."

"We've been looking for a midfielder but now our attentions have switched to a centre-forward." Groves added
