Sky Blues News

Coventry City loan signing Matt Jansen should make his Sky Blues debut in the home game with Bradford.

The Blackburn striker signed in time to play in last week's match at Rotherham but missed the game for personal reasons.

Julian Joachim could be handed a place on the bench after coming through 45 minutes of reserve-team football in his latest comeback bid after a string of injuries.

Midfielder Youssef Chippo returns from a one-match ban for a red card, but John Eustace is suspended for collecting five bookings.

Bantams News

Bradford City defender Robert Molenaar will miss the match after being ruled out for up to eight weeks with a calf problem, he sustained the injury in the warm-up before the 1-0 defeat at home to Brighton last Saturday.

Lewis Emanuel missed the game last weekend with a hamstring problem but is likely to be named in Nicky Law's squad.

Defenders David Wetherall (hamstring) and Andy Myers (hernia) are well on the way to recovery, but both need more match practice before they can return to first-team action.

Jamie Lawrence is to have a face mask constructed to protect his fractured cheekbone, but the trip to Highfield Road will come too soon for the midfielder.
