Royals News

Reading are looking for their fifth win in a row at home to Rotherham and have Ricky Newman available after suspension.

He is likely to start on the bench as replacement Andy Hughes had a magnificent game in the 3-1 win at Sheffield United on Tuesday.

Forwards Nathan Tyson and Darius Henderson are challenging for a place in the starting line-up but are also more likely to be on the bench as manager Alan Pardew begins with the same starting 11 that won on Tuesday night.

Luke Chadwick, on loan from Manchester United, is looking for his fourth win in four starts as he continues to provide the inspiration that has moved Reading into third place in the table.

Millers News

Rotherham manager Ronnie Moore is sweating on the fitness of defender Guy Branston ahead of the trip to the Madejski Stadium.

Branston has a slight thigh strain and will be given until the last minute to prove his fitness.

The Millers boss has no other new injury or suspension concerns and is expected to name the same starting line-up that beat Coventry 1-0 last weekend.
