Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock awaits news on the fitness of Phil Jagielka and Dean Windass ahead of the match with Norwich.

Jagielka (shoulder) and Windass (hip) suffered injuries in the midweek defeat against Reading, and the club said Warnock will be giving the duo "as long as possible" to prove their fitness. 

The Blades boss will be keen to see both players passed fit as he is already without the suspended Shaun Murphy and Steve Kabba for the game.

Norwich boss Nigel Worthington is sweating on the fitness of Northern Ireland international midfielder Phil Mulryne ahead of the trip to Bramall Lane. 

Mulryne has been struggling with a back problem and is rated only 50-50 for the Blades clash. 

Forward David Nielsen (toe infection) is also a doubt, but defender Darren Kenton (dead leg) and attacking midfielder Mark Rivers (abdominal strain) could both figure. 

On-loan striker David Healy is also back in contention after being cup-tied for the FA Cup clash at Southampton.
