Palace have been rocked by the news defender Craig Fleming will sit out the rest of the Eagles action this season with a knee injury.

The news was broke by the Official Palace website - it stated that Fleming has had an operation to cure the problem already.

Flemings original plan was to have the operation at the end of the season , but that was not an option as the knee injury was aggravated during the Leicester game.

Physio George Cooper speaking to the Palace website said "It's disappointing for Curtis to have such a setback so soon after returning but having the operation so quickly is the best thing for him."
