Derby have secured the temporary services of Everton striker Nick Chadwick on a months loan.

Derby having lost Malcolm Christie's services to Middlesborough and having to wait on the continuing fitness wait on Fabrizio Ravenelli , Derby have secured Nick Chadwick from Everton to bolster there forward line on loan.

Chadwick has failed to break into the Toffees side at present and will welcome first team football at Pride Park.

It will be valuable expereince for Chadwick 20 , to prove his metal in a competitive league and prove to David Moyes he still has a career at Goodison.

Chadwick speaking to the Everton official website after his switch to the East Midlands said "Obviously it's a fantastic opportunity. I said last week I have been frustrated at not being in the first team, mainly due to injury, but also because of how well the team has done."

"I just hope that over the next month I can build on what I started when I broke into the first team at Everton last season."

"I spoke to David Moyes and he told me that John Gregory had been on the phone and would I like to go. With not having played much football this season I jumped at the chance." Chadwick added
