Wimbledon managed to secure a dramatically ‘Roy of the Rovers’ equaliser when a Neil Shipperley penalty moments from time gave the Dons a 3-3 draw at the Priestfield Stadium.

Wimbledon had taken the lead through David Connolly (4mins) but Paul Shaw levelled things up just after the half hour mark.

Former Glasgow Rangers striker Rod Wallace put the home side in front with just 15 minutes left before Nigel Reo-Coker to level four minutes later.

Shaw struck again ten minutes from time but Shipperley kept his cool and slotted home a last minute penalty to make sure the visitors went home with at least a point.
