Ipswich defender Chris Makin will take a late fitness test before tonights game against Reading , if passed fit it wil be a surprise return for the popular defender.

Ipswich defender Chris Makin will take a late fitness test before tonights game against Reading , if passed fit it wil be a surprise return for the popular defender.

Makin got injured in a 1-1 draw at Palace last week and wasn't expected to make the game.

Ipswich boss speaking to the local paper Eastern Daily Press said "I am hopeful. Chris came through training with no ill effects but, seeing as it's a hamstring injury, he will have a fitness test to make sure there has been no reaction."
